A few weeks back I had the pleasure of shooting this newborn girl photo session. She was the perfect little model and slept so peacefully through the entire session! Mom did not have to travel too far to look for a Wylie newborn photographer since we’re practically neighbors.

Sometimes I love it when I get special requests to personalize an image. By that I mean that this newborn girl was holding the strand of pearls that her dad gifted to her mom. I love that I captured this for them!

Newborn safety is one of the most important things to me when I work with new families. Making sure that they are well fed and snuggled in their wrap is one of the first things I do before I begin the photo session.

Instead of the girly pinks & purples, this newborn photo session went in a different direction as far as color goes. I chose a palette of blues and cream on wooden backdrops. The headband was made by me using strands of white mohair wool and swarovski pearls.
