One of the best things about being a Family photographer in Dallas is that I get to meet so many wonderful moms, dads and kids out there. There is something refreshing about spending some time with a young family and getting to know them and all their unique behavior. These two young boys were so much fun to work with – full of life and rambunctiousness!

I had them meet me at one of my favorite on-location spots in north Dallas for outdoor photography around sundown. The weather was positively perfect that evening and I love that warm, golden glow I captured in each photo! Soft winds blowing and secluded dirt roads always make my heart smile when it comes to family photography. This particular evening was no exception and helped create a warm mood.

It’s not just about pictures – when I capture families together I love to see the love and personal connection! It’s portraits like these I hope will grace the walls of your home in either single canvas or canvas group.

I love using a big fluffy blanket for the on-the ground poses like the ones below. Then I grab some good head shots of each family member. It really helps add personality to an album with many photos of the whole family.

Aside from it being a fun evening in the park, I created this family a gallery of 30-40 images in which they ordered both an album and a canvas from the Essentials package. It was so much fun to meet up once again at the ordering appointment and shared all the possible keepsakes they could make from their photo gallery.
