Recent fall family photos in the park were some of the most fun in awhile capturing storytelling images. Chasing little ones around and getting it just right were some of the challenges, but I managed to get it! See the video of me below getting the perfect shot. As a professional photographer, it makes me so happy when I capture a shot that I adore. A good family portrait should tell a story and be a treasure to look back upon in years to come.

Fall Family Photos

Fall family photos are some of my favorites to photograph. They are different from the usual indoor studio portrait sessions. It was nice to be outside in the elements for an outdoor family photoshoot. Fall family pictures for this darling family were the goal and this little boy did not disappoint!

I love the big grins and giggles this little guy gave me for the whole photoshoot. Determining what to wear for your family photos can be a tough job – this pinterest board is a great starting point to help give you some ideas of colors and patterns that work well together.

This little guy had enough of the traditional poses and I just went with it and kept shooting! We were able to capture perfect unposed fun in the woods although family pictures were not what he had in mind.
